The Future is Dark...

So, after a long time I am writing something. This time a bit serious and with my way of communication. There are some things which we already know but need something extra to communicate them in a best possible way. So here it is..read on...and make sure you see my design at the end, its a thought that I want to share.

A few weeks back on a weekend I had gone to my uncle's place at Dombivli. It was not a planned trip as I had gone for my sis's admission at Kharghar and landed spending my weekend in Dombivli because there was no one at my place and it was a better idea to spend some time with my cousins.

It was a lovely day spent and then came the frightening night. No no no...there was no ghost or something but there was no ELECTRICITY. Yes it has been like a daily routine for them that the electricity is cut because of load shading for at least 2 hours and 2 times a day (afternoon and night)...that too in such a hot conditions. So we had sleep (actually try sleeping) without fans on and mosquitoes giving us their company.

Next day we were heading back to Mumbai and I came across something which was really sick. At 11 o clock in the morning the road lights were on at Maheshwari Udyan. That was not first time I saw that but yes this time it made me think.

We keep lights on in the morning when there is no need, we use electricity for floodlights in cricket matches (just imagine how much electricity must have used for the entire IPL season), So much electricity is used in the malls and marriages. On the other hand we do load shading when there is a big need of electricity just to live a normal life. I think its very contradictory. Also the point is how much electricity is conserved compared to how much it is wasted? Yes unfortunately the proportion is very less!

If we keep on wasting so much electricity, then the future is dark. We gotta do something about it now to make the future bright and shining.

The Circle Is Complete....

Life....Such a wonderful journey...Full of surprises, happiness, sadness, success, failures and every experience teaches you something. No no no, I am not going to give you any lecture on life (Baba Pushkar Raza Bangali lol). I am going to tell you a story. A story of three friends. No, it's neither Dil Chahta Hai nor 3 Idiots. Read on to know...

Flashback: 6 years back, Mumbai
It all started in KC College, one of the famous colleges in the heart of south mumbai, Churchgate where we all met. Standing up to my parents expectations I scored less in HSC (no surprise lol) and landed here in KC College opting in BSc(IT).

In the first semester we three were like strangers to each other. Actually I was stranger to both of them. Ohh I forgot to introduce them. Alright, I would like you to be a little more curious but for a time being lets name them A and B. So, A & B were friends from the school days and I was like a stranger to them. Then once in a maths lecture we started talking to each other. We were sitting next to each other and it was quite surprising for all of us to know that all of us are Marathi (strange I know and we all were thrown out of the class). If you talk in networking terms "The connection was established."

Then as the 2nd, 3d, 4th, 5th ,6th semesters went by we became friends to good friends, good friends to Best friends. People started recognizing us together. It was our identity and people used to find us together wherever they used see us. Even it was very profit making for the private tutors or any other institution to target any one of us. Because if one of us would become their customer, they used get two more customers automatically! (Proof: We all joined Arena Multimedia together lol).

5th and 6th semester were the best days in our life. We all actually studied very hard(yes, difficult to digest but yes we did) and did well in our exams as well. And finally we became graduates. The question then was "what next?" But we had answers for everything. We thought of becoming an MBA. As a result we all joined TIME classes for the entrance preparation(yet another proof....1 teer mein 3 shikar...lol).

And then the time came when we had to part away. We all got admissions in different B-Schools. And for the next two years the contact was very limited. Yes we used to talk each other on phone sometimes but it was certainly not as it used to be in the past. We had our colleges, lectures, assignments, presentations and what not. We all were busy in our own lives. So again speaking in networking terms "The connection was idle."

It was the end of our MBA course and we all were looking for the placements. Recession had hit us very badly. We all were desperate. Then one day I got a call from "A" saying that he is working in a company and "B" has already given an interview in the same company. He asked me also to give it a try. Without thinking much on it I said a yes to give it a try and forwarded my CV to fix up my interview.

Present Day, Mumbai
We all are together again working in an Online Advertising company in New Bombay. And its been fantastic so far. We all are working in different departments and most importantly liking the job we are doing. Ohh by the time you must have recognized whom am I taking about for so long. Yes, It's we three Pushkar(myself), Rohan(A), Pratik(B) aka PRP. We are together to rock again. Life is such a wonderful journey...We started from a point...and we are again at the same point where we all started....The circle is truly complete! Cheers to our friendship! And I pray to the god that we remain best friends forever and ever!
